Featured Aspires Supporter of the Month
Mr. Steve Brorby

In America every year, million of men, women and children spend time helping others. Mr. Steve Brorby has been one of those persons.  Steve has been enjoying spending time helping the Aspires West students for two days a week for the last three years as a volunteer.    He has seen the students mature and learn the skills that will be needed for their future. He looks forward to another year being able to help the students.

He grew up in Wyoming and after graduation from the University of Wyoming, he worked at Dow Chemical in various sales and product management positions for 33 years primarily in the mid-west snow country. After he retired, he and his wife moved to sunny southern California and has enjoyed the climate, people, and diversity of the area.  He enjoys gardening, reading, house projects, volunteering and traveling. He has participated in a nondenominational Bible study, BSF International, for 14 years and he attends All Saints Episcopal Church in Pasadena.  He has taught English as a second language for four years in the Pasadena area through the San Gabriel Valley Literacy Council.

We are indeed happy to have Steve working with us.
